Trying to manage without antipsychotics

Postby walk.two.worlds on Sun May 24, 2009 1:52 am

I have akathisia that i can't stand even with the newer ones, i don't feel like msyelf, they flatten my creativity as well. But the trade off is so much suffering to bear. I feel scared all the time. I think a lot has to do with where a person lives. An area like where i live with strict, judgemental, narrow minded people is a death sentence, it's run on intimidation all meant to put you in your place which is high priority for anyone that doens't blend or thinks for themselves. where you live can be a source of health or illness.

Where I live everyone is judgemental, and I attribute it to their religious preferences and social stigmas. This is something I have always had to deal with and hope to get the f*** out of here as soon as I get a job and a little bit of money, but seriously living in a place like that must feel difficult because it cramps free thinkers like ourselves. I agree, where I live does make living difficult for me because it's very dreary over here, but at least you will have material for your biography if you ever become famous. Just remember a better place for you has to be out there, and in time with hard work you will be able to take yourself there.

Thank you for the encouragement, Agony. I wish also for you someday finding a better place to live. It is something to look forward to.

Honestly, I hope you can do the same. Location has almost everything to do with how well you are able to function, so a change of pace would serve me well (or not, but i'll take that chance).
