Vecis means "Guy" in Latvian or old man.

i dont think there is an english word for vemod, but its a scandinavian word for a kind of sadness you feel when youre thinking back on times, places, things or people that once was important and then disappeared, never to come back again. i use it as a pseudonym for the things i write.. mostly poems and some music (mainly black/doom metal).
