I see clockwise then a distraction sends it anticlockwise but it goes back again.

I used to smoke loads of weed too, had to give it all up though, kids and also health probs...best thing really...

I miss it ..was thinking of making a cake sometime soon...

Going to try meditation this evening..never treid before..have to get used to being with people and stuff...

I moved this to the "whatever" forum, as it doesn't really have anything to do with StPD.

I did the meditation, it was interesting...

After about 5 minutes so of deep breathing and listening to music, i got a familiar feeling for about 30 seconds. The feeling is; like I am travelling through a tunnel really fast towards the other end, and I can feel a kind of pulling sensation from the centre of my forehead. I have had that feeling many times before when I am just about to go to sleep. Last night however it was accompanied by rapid eye movement, which was really bizaar...my eyes were moving so quickly. It distracted me though and the music changed and I wasnt able to go there again...lol...the other 35 minutes were spent just listening to the music, couldnt seem to reach that phase again. I think the kind of music had something to do with it, it was trancy...

I do meditation and reiki daily. I'm currently going through the power meditations on a spiritual website in order to do deeper magickal work. Some of the meditations can be very challenging and it's all about disciplining your mind. You've got to be careful with deep breathing though because if you push yourself too hard it can damage the nervous system.

I would probably be left brained as creative types (I'm a poet) tend to be more left brained.

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test ... do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa. Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

It went both ways for me. I got distracted and then it turned the other way a couple of times.

Interesting. I thought it was stuck on left, then it changed to right and stayed like that for a while.. then kept switching each couple of minutes.

I saw her turning clockwise.

I also learned how schizotypal I actaully am when I became amazed and decided to test my sister and mother. They both saw counter-clockwise, and became concerned that I was looking at some kind of porn. Like laughing at a funeral I guess.
