Hi No One, thanks for you comments. I actually never studied art, and am terrible with colours... ..what I try and do is work with about three at a time, I cant manage more than that really.
I used to do pencil mostly and only started painting when I was about 24...
I beleive every one is an artist, they just have different styles..never give up..! Those styles kind of evolved over the years. The landscapes being more commercial and the Maps, kind of an obsession... inspired by war and natural dissasters a lot of the time..

ah self taught! my art books say to use just a few colours, but i still cant get it right, most of my artwork is pencil sketches

Eyes are great, I like drawing eyes, and trees...

My motivation at the moment seems to be money..he he..I can get up to 200 euros for a painting...I mean how cool is that?

Get a pad a pencil and just see what comes out...you might surprise yourself.

Thats probably good advice....200 euros is a good sum, sounds like you can make a fair living from painting.

Still cant give up the day job, but it certainly comes in handy....
