Antipsychotics - how do they help you?

I'm wondering how you guys are helped by your meds, specifically AAPs.

For me, I have increased concentration, less strange/macabre thoughts, more energy, no more hallucinations, and I just feel saner in general. I'm on Abilify, and it saved this girl's ass!

Yes I take 1mg Risperidon and it helps control my Paranoid ideas very well. The only problem is that it slows my brain down and I can spend hours deep in comtemplation about absolutely nothing - but this is better than paranoia.
Life is a journey with an end.
