I moved this thread from the General discussion forum, as it doesn't particularly have anything to do with StPD.

I have pretty vivid dreams and I have had very good dream recall my whole life. I can remember roughly 3-4 every night (assuming I get at least 6 hours of sleep) and I can pretty much get every detail from each one. I usually sit in bed for a little while after I wake up to replay the dreams in my head to see if there is anything significant about them. I used to keep a dream journal, but then I got too lazy to write in it every morning so I usually forget the unimportant dreams by the end of the day. It's kind of weird because I can never explain to people what I dreamt about. I have all these images, sounds, smells, etc. in my head, but I can't ever seem to put them into words.

I lucid dream occasionally, but I haven't actually tried to have one for awhile now. I have dreams quite often in which I'm aware that I can do anything but I can't figure out why I can.

I've been a lucid dreamer for a long time. It was something I started to learn as a kid. It makes it neat to run around in a dream world with the ability to control what your dream does. It can make it kinda tough in the morning though, who wants to start there day when you can go right back to a fun dream =)

I had to write a home test about sex. It somehow required a test with mice (or rats). At least I caught them when they were at the size of a bug, but they grew up and I felt terribly disgusted by them. I think once one grabbed something important for my work and took into their box, and later they started to eat it.

I was living in a hospital in one room with 2 or 3 bedlamites. Its atmosphere was like in Tshehov's Ward Nr. 6. One patient was also like Gromov. He was passionately unhappy and complained about his situation's unjustness until I felt sorry for him and took his straitjacket off of him. On the next night I was a little afraid of him because he seemed a little dangerous. Once he really wanted to suffocate me when he was angry again. We had visitors pretty frequently. I am not sure how this dream went on. I think it was on my way to home with my family and we was eating somewhere when the kitchens (there were two kitchens on the far end of the railway-like table-rows) suddenly began burning but they were shooting the fire until the end of the table-row like a flamethrower. First time the other kitchen was shooting and I knew ahead when ours will. Then I ran out of the line into the other end of the street by a wall. The fire really didn't reach there but a thick black smoke didn't. I was holding my breath back and my family shouted for me. That's when I woke up. I wasn't scared just a little excited. Once in my childhood I was afraid of crazyness, once of blindness and disabled ones. Crazyness-phobia, I think, came when I got scared of a pic of Van Gogh. Now I am curious of weird states of the mind.

I had a dream where I was in a glasshouse and injected with a drug that would make me manic. I think it was a psychological experiment of some sort. I started to hear demonic voices then I woke up.

Interesting dream, Housesnormally represent our physical being and our condition in our life. Glass is see through and fragile. Waybe that means something to you. Maybe you feel vunerable in some way...To dream that someone is forcibly injecting you, could represents your negative attitudes about a particular situation/person. It also indicates the influence of peer pressure working against you. You are recognizing that someone is forcing their negative and unwelcome views/values on you.

The demonic voices could be your shadow self.

Well, that is according to the site I just visited. Dreams are very interesting, i recon they are there to help us get our heads in order. Dont know if anyone else is of the same opinion...
