I mean that it's major requirement is the deficits in social functioning, so I guess anxiety is not the -best- word for it, but it's what makes it more like a personality trait, y'know?

The genetic factor too can be either that the personality trait can be passed on or that the physical illness can be passed on and since it's so hard to tell between StPD and early schizophrenia it may be a misdiagnosis... but hey, I could be horribly wrong lol

Hmm I, on the other hand, would vote that my mom has StPD and her family has some schizophrenia in it... soooo what does that prove? I dono... that we... understand... each other
if they only knew what I know

The important part is finding therapy that helps.

That's how I feel about it too! Why can't the norms love us for who we are? We keep them from being dull. Oh wait! Let me rephrase that, Dang! I forgot how! hate it when that happens! Why do they have to use labels? I'm not a jar. The door is a jar (according to the light on the dashboard anyway)
