I, also, have pushed away just about everyone I've ever known... I have a loving husband and a happy 2yo boy... other than that people come and go... people like me but I don't let them get to comfy. I don't feel lonely a lot... bored tho. Sometimes I get an itch to socialize, but feel very nervous about any situation I'd invite myself into. I socialize online to make up for it... it's a very happy medium.

I have no family. My only friend is an email friend who I am sometimes afraid of. I'm on the verge of homelessness. I deal with lonliness by being in other worlds. And it is for this reason I don't care for the mental health system which would desire to take them away and replace with what?
