General info on antipsychotics

Atypical antipsychotics (AAP)
Including: Clozapine (Clozaril), Risperidone (Risperdal), Olanzapine (Zyprexa), Quetiapine (Seroquel), Ziprasidone (Geodon), Aripiprazole (Abilify), Paliperidone (Invega), Asenapine, Iloperidone (Fanapta or Zomaril), Sertindole (Serlect), Zotepine, Amisulpride, Bifeprunox, Melperone.

Typical antipsychotics
Including: Chlorpromazine (Largactil, Thorazine), Fluphenazine (Prolixin), Haloperidol (Haldol, Serenace), Molindone, Thiothixene (Navane), Thioridazine (Mellaril), Trifluoperazine (Stelazine), Loxapine (Loxapac, Loxitane), Perphenazine, Prochlorperazine (Compazine, Buccastem, Stemetil), Pimozide (Orap), Zuclopenthixol (Clopixol).
Diagnosis: schizotypal disorder, depression
Meds: Abilify 20 mg

why should anyone do it? Leave it to the psychiatrist.

Do what? Research medications? Some of us actually like knowing what we put into our bodies, you know!
