Just wondering.. 'cuz I've been studying it off and on (mostly on) for the past 3 and 1/2 years. Not just Sun signs-- the whole birth chart. I saw one 'symptom' of StPD is believing in things such as Astrology, ghosts, UFO's, etc. I've found Astrology to be a respectable study.

I don't study it (or believe in in), but my mom does, so I've had plenty of growing up. The funny things is, my mom used to always guess the birth sign of my friends when I had them over, and she was usually right!

I wouldn't say I 'believe' in Astrology either. I've tried disproving Astrology several times. Sun signs.. I'm horrible at guessing them! I don't really understand why something like Astrology would be considered in the criteria. Psychologist Carl Jung studied Astrology.

Hypothetically, some people who believe in Astrology might think the stars control our lives or if they don't follow horoscopes that their lives would be worthless.. I guess I could see the concern there.

I studied it quite obsessively as a young man I am ashamed to say. As I got older and started reading popular science writers like Dawkins et al all that garbage melted away. I can still recall the first time I heard the term 'survival machine' and the consciousness raising it promoted thereafter. I still have my obsessions but they are far more justifiable ones.

I like astrology, I mean I don't think the stars control my life. But sometimes I do think they control what comes my way during a given day.
I find them to be quite accurate too, which kind of messes me up everytime I try to throw it out.

I beleive that some things about astology might be acurate but we shouldnt let it 'govern' our lives. Some people get obsessed to the point that they will not make a business investment, or get a partner until they have consulted their astrologist. Hitler used to have an astrologist and many famous people do too.

I personaly woud rather let life be a surprise..I am a Leo, and not a typical one I recon.
