Is there a way for us to get rid of the ads on the forum? Are the owners or managers making money off of them or what?

This is a free forum service, ad-money goes to the the owners of that service, not the managers (incl. me) of this particular forum. The only way to get rid of the ads is to pay for the forum, which is not an option right now, sorry! (Unless someone is willing to donate of course!)

Personally, I'm using a Firefox browser with Ad Block Plus, which gets rid of all adverts on all websites. I'll really recommend it!
